Weeks later I came to the house to find 2 inches of water in the basement. While cleaning up the mess Windy and the executor showed up for a private meeting. After only a few minutes of observation she pointed out that the water was likely coming out by the washer. Under stress and ‘knowing’ the fairly new water house filter was the cause, but on the other side of the basement, I was perplexed. After Roto-Rooter unclogged the blockage a week later, deep into the street, I realized she was correct. When the filter automatically expelled it’s dirty water biweekly, the water had no where to go except backwards out a poorly designed relief valve and then further on out the washer’s drainage pipe. Smart lady and handy at that!

The house had an old boiler that was dripping water. I put a bucket underneath and would check it once a week. When I was not able to make it to the house Windy would empty the bucket without objection. Innately aware of keeping a dormant house in tip top shape throughout it’s sale, because stuff just happens, she is most reliable.

The house eventually sold about 5 months later for the right price. It would have been sooner but there was an unexpired solar panel contract under my parents name. Windy worked out a deal splitting an outstanding balance between the estate and new buyer. I wouldn’t have known about the holdup except for Windy’s courteous and timely updates.

I live at Orange County, New York. Fortunately Windy services this county as well. Having experienced buying and selling my own homes with Realtors, I never met a dedicated one like her. She is kind, attentive, insightful and elaborate in her work. Because of this experience, I would not hesitate to call Windy Rosengart when selling my home. I’d be a fool otherwise.
